§66‑26.  Legal responsibility of proper installations unaffected.

This Article shall not beconstrued to relieve from or to lessen the responsibility or liability of anyparty owning, operating, controlling or installing any electrical materials,devices, appliances or equipment for damages to persons or property caused byany defect therein, nor shall the electrical inspector, the Commissioner, oragents of the Commissioner be held as assuming any such liability by reason ofthe approval of any material, device, appliance or equipment authorized herein.(1933, c. 555, s. 4; 1989, c. 681, s. 1.)
