Electronic Access toState Services.
§ 66‑58.20. Developmentand implementation of Web portals; public agency links.
(a) The Office ofInformation Technology Services (ITS) shall develop the architecture,requirements, and standards for the development, implementation and operationof one or more centralized Web portals that will allow persons to access Stategovernment services on a 24‑hour basis. ITS shall submit its plan for theimplementation of the Web portals to the State Chief Information Officer forreview and approval. When the plan is approved by the State Chief InformationOfficer, ITS shall move forward with development and implementation of thestatewide Web Portal system.
(b) Each Statedepartment, agency, and institution under the review of the State ChiefInformation Officer shall functionally link its Internet or electronic servicesto a centralized Web portal system established pursuant to subsection (a) ofthis section. (2000‑67,s. 7.9; 2004‑129, s. 28.)
