§ 74F-7. Qualifications for license. - North Carolina Statutes

§ 74F‑7.  Qualificationsfor license.

An applicant shall be licensedas a locksmith if the applicant meets all of the following qualifications:

(1)        Is of good moral andethical character, as evidenced in part by a criminal history record checkconducted in accordance with G.S. 74F‑18.

(2)        Is at least 18 yearsof age.

(3)        Successfullycompletes an examination administered by the Board that measures the knowledgeand skill of the applicant in locksmith services and the laws applicable tolicensed locksmiths.

(4)        Pays the requiredfee under G.S. 74F‑9. (2001‑369, s. 1; 2003‑350, s. 5.)
