§ 75‑37.  Declaration ofState public policy.

It is the public policy ofthis State to protect its citizens from price gouging during states ofdisaster. The State also realizes the difficulty in regulating prices while notdefeating the ability of the market in goods and services from bringing supplyback in balance with demand and not defeating the function of price inallocating scarce resources.
