§ 75D-12. Venue.

§75D‑12.  Venue.

In any forfeiture actionbrought pursuant to this Chapter, the claim for relief shall be considered tohave arisen in any county in which an incident of racketeering occurred or inwhich an interest or control of an enterprise or real or personal property isacquired or maintained. Venue in any private action shall be as provided inArticle 7, Chapter 1, of the General Statutes of North Carolina. (1985(Reg. Sess., 1986), c. 999, s. 1; 1989, c. 489, s. 1.)
