§ 77-97. Compensation and expenses of Commission members. - North Carolina Statutes

§ 77‑97.  Compensationand expenses of Commission members.

(a)        The appointedmembers of the North Carolina delegation to the Commission shall receive perdiem, subsistence, and travel expenses as follows:

(1)        Commission memberswho are members of the General Assembly at the rate established in G.S. 120‑3.1.

(2)        Commission memberswho are officials or employees of the State or of local government agencies atthe rate established in G.S. 138‑6.

(3)        All other Commissionmembers at the rate established in G.S. 138‑5.

(b)        The members of theVirginia delegation to the Commission shall receive compensation as provided bythe Commonwealth of Virginia.

(c)        All expenses shallbe paid from funds appropriated or otherwise available to the Commission. (2002‑177, s. 1.)
