§ 7A‑374.1. Purpose.
The purpose of this Article isto provide for the investigation and resolution of inquiries concerning thequalification or conduct of any judge or justice of the General Court ofJustice. The procedure for discipline of any judge or justice of the GeneralCourt of Justice shall be in accordance with this Article. Nothing in thisArticle shall affect the impeachment of judges under the North CarolinaConstitution, Article IV, Sections 4 and 17. (2006‑187, s. 11.)
