§7B‑1201.  Implementation and administration.

(a)        Local Programs. –The Administrative Office of the Courts shall, in cooperation with each chiefdistrict court judge and other personnel in the district, implement andadminister the program mandated by this Article. Where a local program has notyet been established in accordance with this Article, the district courtdistrict shall operate a guardian ad litem program approved by theAdministrative Office of the Courts.

(b)        Advisory CommitteeEstablished. – The Director of the Administrative Office of the Courts shallappoint a Guardian ad Litem Advisory Committee consisting of at least fivemembers to advise the Office of Guardian ad Litem Services in matters relatedto this program. The members of the Advisory Committee shall receive the sameper diem and reimbursement for travel expenses as members of State boards andcommissions generally. (1983, c. 761, s. 160; 1987 (Reg.
