Hearing Procedures.
§ 7B‑2400. Amendment ofpetition.
The court may permit apetition to be amended when the amendment does not change the nature of theoffense alleged. If a motion to amend is allowed, the juvenile shall be given areasonable opportunity to prepare a defense to the amended allegations. (1979,c. 815, s. 1; 1998‑202, s. 6.)
