§ 7B‑2808.  (Forcontingent repeal – see note) Responsibility for costs.

(a)        The provisions ofG.S. 7B‑2804(b), 7B‑2805(b), and 7B‑2807(d) shall not beconstrued to alter or affect any internal relationship among the departments,agencies, and officers of and in the government of a party state, or between aparty state and its subdivisions, as to the payment of costs orresponsibilities therefor.

(b)        Nothing in thisCompact shall be construed to prevent any party state or subdivision thereoffrom asserting any right against any person, agency, or other entity in regardto costs for which such party state or subdivision thereof may be responsiblepursuant to G.S. 7B‑2804(b), 7B‑2805(b), and 7B‑2807(d).
