§ 7B‑2809.  (Forcontingent repeal – see note) Detention practices.

To every extent possible, itshall be the policy of states party to this Compact that no juvenile ordelinquent juvenile shall be placed or detained in any prison, jail, or lockup,nor be detained or transported in association with criminal, vicious, ordissolute persons.
