§ 7B‑2814.  (Forcontingent repeal – see note) Renunciation.

This Compact shall continue inforce and remain binding upon each executing state until renounced by it.Renunciation of this Compact shall be by the same authority which executed it,by sending six months' notice in writing of its intention to withdraw from theCompact to the other states party hereto. The duties and obligations of arenouncing state under G.S. 7B‑2807 hereof shall continue as to paroleesand probationers residing therein at the time of withdrawal until retaken orfinally discharged. Supplementary agreements entered into under G.S. 7B‑2810hereof shall be subject to renunciation as provided by supplementary agreementsand shall not be subject to the six months' renunciation notice of the presentsection.
