§ 7B‑2816.  (Forcontingent repeal – see note) Authority of Governor to designate CompactAdministrator.

Pursuant to said Compact, theGovernor is hereby authorized and empowered to designate an officer who shallbe the Compact Administrator and who, acting jointly with like officers ofother party states, shall adopt rules and regulations to carry out moreeffectively the terms of the Compact. The Compact Administrator shall servesubject to the pleasure of the Governor. The Compact Administrator is herebyauthorized, empowered, and directed to cooperate with all departments,agencies, and officers of and in the government of this State and itssubdivisions in facilitating the proper administration of the Compact or of anysupplementary agreement or agreements entered into by this State hereunder.
