§8‑8.  Certified copies of grants and abstracts recorded.

Duly certified copies of suchgrants and of such memoranda and abstracts of grants may be recorded in thecounty where the lands therein described are situated, and the records thereofin such counties, or certified copies thereof, shall likewise be competentevidence for the purpose of showing title from the State of North Carolina tothe grantee or grantees named and for the lands described therein.
