§ 84-2. Persons disqualified.

§ 84‑2.  Personsdisqualified.

No justice, judge, magistrate,full‑time district attorney, full‑time assistant district attorney,public defender, assistant public defender, clerk, deputy or assistant clerk ofthe General Court of Justice, register of deeds, deputy or assistant registerof deeds, sheriff or deputy sheriff shall engage in the private practice oflaw. Persons violating this provision shall be guilty of a Class 3 misdemeanorand only fined not less than two hundred dollars ($200.00).
