§86A‑2. What constitutes practice of barbering.
Any one or combination of thefollowing practices constitutes the practice of barbering in the purview ofthis Chapter:
(1) Shaving or trimmingthe beard, or cutting the hair;
(2) Dyeing the hair orapplying hair tonics, permanent waving or marcelling the hair;
(3) Giving facial orscalp massages, or treatments with oils, creams, lotions or other preparationseither by hand or mechanical appliances. (1929, c. 119, s. 2; 1941, c.375, s. 2; 1979, c. 695, s. 1.)
