§ 88A‑2.  Purpose.

The purpose of this Chapter isto ensure minimum standards of competency, to protect the public frommisrepresentation of status by persons who hold themselves out to be"licensed electrologists" or "licensed laser hairpractitioners" and to provide the public with safe care by the mandatorylicensing of electrologists and laser hair practitioners.
