§ 88B-18. (Effective until July 1, 2010) Examinations.

§ 88B‑18.  (Effectiveuntil July 1, 2010) Examinations.

(a)        Repealed by SessionLaws 2006‑212, s. 2, effective August 8, 2006.

(b)        Each examinationshall have both a practical and a written portion.

(c)        Examinations forapplicants for apprentice, cosmetologist, teacher, esthetician, and manicuristlicenses shall be given in at least three locations in the State that aregeographically scattered. The examinations shall be administered in Board‑approvedfacilities.

(d)        An applicant for acosmetologist, esthetician, manicurist, or teacher's license who fails to passthe examination three times may not reapply to take the examination again untilafter the applicant has successfully completed any additional requirementsprescribed by the Board.  (1933, c. 179, ss. 16, 17; 1935, c. 54, s. 4; 1973, c.1360, ss. 3, 4; 1975, c. 857, s. 5; 1985, c. 559, s. 1; 1989, c. 650, s. 3;1995, c. 541, s. 2; 1998‑230, s. 2; 2006‑212, s. 2.)

(b)        Each examinationshall have both a practical and a written portion.

(c)        Examinations forapplicants for apprentice, cosmetologist, teacher, esthetician, natural haircare specialist, and manicurist licenses shall be given in at least threelocations in the State that are geographically scattered. The examinationsshall be administered in Board‑approved facilities.
