§89C‑9.  Executive director; duties and liabilities.

The Board shall employ anexecutive director who is not a member of the Board. The executive directorshall be a full‑time employee of the Board and perform the dutiesassigned to the director by the secretary subject to the approval of the Board.The executive director shall receive a salary and compensation fixed by theBoard. The executive director shall give a surety bond satisfactory to theBoard conditioned upon the faithful performance of the director's dutiesassigned. The premium on the bond shall be a necessary and proper expense ofthe Board.
