§89D‑8.  Out‑of‑state applicants.

An applicant from anotherstate which offers registration privileges to residents of North Carolina maybe registered by conforming to all the provisions of this Chapter and, in thediscretion of the Board, such other terms and conditions as are required ofNorth Carolina residents applying for a certificate in such other state. TheBoard may exempt from the examination prescribed in this Chapter a landscapecontractor duly registered in another state if a similar exemption is extendedto registered landscape contractors from North Carolina.
