§ 90‑187.4. Temporary permit.
(a) The Board may issue, without examination, a temporary permitto practice veterinary medicine in this State:
(1) To a qualified applicant for license pending examination,provided that such temporary permit shall expire the day after the notice ofresults of the first examination given after the permit is issued.
(2) To a nonresident veterinarian validly licensed in anotherstate, territory, or district of the United States or a foreign country,provided that such temporary permit shall be issued for a period of no morethan 60 days.
(3) Temporary permits, as provided in (1) and (2) above, maycontain any restrictions as to time, place, or supervision, that the Boarddeems appropriate. The State Veterinarian shall be notified as to the issuanceof all temporary permits.
