§ 90‑210.105.  Board authorized to freezecertain funds of Association.

Whenever in the opinion of the Board of Funeral Service it deems itnecessary for the protection of the interest of members of a burialassociation, it shall have authority by written order to direct that the fundsof any burial association on deposit in any institution organized and operatingunder Chapters 53 and 54 of the General Statutes be frozen and not paid out bysuch legal entity. Any legal entity freezing the funds of a burial associationpursuant to the directive of the Board of Funeral Service shall not be liableto any burial association for freezing said account pursuant to the order ofthe Board.
