§ 90‑270.14. Renewal of licenses; duplicate or replacement licenses.
(a) A license in effect on October 1, 1993, must be renewed onor before January 1, 1994. Thereafter, a license issued under this Articlemust be renewed biennially on or before the first day of October in each even‑numberedyear, the requirements for such renewal being:
(1) Each application for renewal must be made on a formprescribed by the Board and accompanied by a fee as specified in G.S. 90‑270.18(b). If a license is not renewed on or before the renewal date, an additional feeshall be charged for late renewal as specified in G.S. 90‑270.18(b).
(2) The Board may establish continuing education requirements asa condition for license renewal.
(b) A licensee may request the Board to issue a duplicate orreplacement license for a fee as specified in G.S. 90‑270.18(b). Uponreceipt of the request and a showing of good cause for the issuance of aduplicate or replacement license, and the payment of the fee, the Board shallissue a duplicate or replacement license.
