§ 90-270.58B. Inactive status.

§ 90‑270.58B.  Inactivestatus.

(a)        A person who holdsa valid and unexpired license and who is not actively engaged in the practiceof marriage and family therapy may apply to the Board to be placed on inactivestatus. A person on inactive status shall not be required to pay annual renewalfees, but shall be required to pay an annual inactive status maintenance fee. Aperson who is on inactive status shall not have to meet continuing educationrequirements.

(b)        A person oninactive status shall not practice or hold himself out as practicing marriageand family therapy or perform any other activities prohibited by this Article.

(c)        A person desiringto return to active status shall submit written application to the Board. TheBoard shall return the person to active status upon payment of the feespecified in G.S. 90‑270.57 and upon such showing of competency to resumepractice as the Board may require.  (1993 (Reg.
