§ 90‑537. Enjoining illegal practices.

If the Board finds that a person who does not have a license issuedunder this Article claims to be an athletic trainer or is engaging in practiceas an athletic trainer in violation of this Article, the Board may apply in itsown name to the Superior Court of Wake County for a temporary restraining orderor other injunctive relief to prevent the person from continuing illegalpractices. The court may grant injunctions regardless of whether criminalprosecution or other action has been or may be instituted as a result of aviolation. (1997‑387, s.1.)
