§ 90‑601.  Purpose.

The identification of accident‑trauma victims is crucial to thetimely notification of the next of kin of accident‑trauma victims and tothe recovery of organs and tissues for organ transplants. In recognition ofthese facts, it is the policy of this State and the purpose of this act toprovide for the timely identification of accident‑trauma victims by lawenforcement, fire, emergency, rescue, and hospital personnel.
