§91A‑13.  License renewal.

Notwithstanding any provisionof this Chapter to the contrary, any person, firm, or corporation licensed as apawnbroker on or before October 1, 1989, shall continue in force until thenatural expiration thereof and all other provisions of this Chapter shall applyto such license.  Such pawnbroker shall be eligible for renewal of his licenseupon its expiration or subsequent renewals, provided such license complies withthe requirements for renewal that were in effect immediately prior to October1, 1989.
