§ 97‑140. Nonduplication of recovery.

Any person having a coveredclaim that may be recovered under more than one insurance or self‑insuranceguaranty or security association or its equivalent shall seek recovery firstfrom the association of the place or residence of the claimant. Any recoveryunder this Article shall be reduced by the amount of recovery from any otherinsurance guaranty or security association or its equivalent. (1985 (Reg.
