4713.56 Posting license or certificate.

Every holder of a practicing license, managing license, instructor license, or independent contractor license issued by the state board of cosmetology shall display the license in a public and conspicuous place in the place of employment of the holder. Every holder of a license to operate a salon issued by the board shall display the license in a public and conspicuous place in the salon. Every holder of a license to operate a school of cosmetology issued by the board shall display the license in a public and conspicuous place in the school. Every person who provides cosmetic therapy, massage therapy, or other professional service in a salon under section 4713.42 of the Revised Code shall display the person’s professional license or certificate in a public and conspicuous place in the room used for the therapy or other service.
