4713.57 Expiration of licenses.

A license issued by the state board of cosmetology is valid until the last day of January of the odd-numbered year following its original issuance or renewal, unless the license is revoked or suspended prior to that date. Renewal shall be done in accordance with the standard renewal procedure of Chapter 4745. of the Revised Code. The board may refuse to renew a license if the person holding the license has an outstanding unpaid fine levied under section 4713.64 of the Revised Code.
