4907.01 [Effective Until 9/13/2010] Public utilities commission - railroad powers definitions.

As used in sections 4907.01 to 4907.63, inclusive, of the Revised Code:

(A) “Public utility” has the meaning set forth in section 4905.02 of the Revised Code.

(B) “Telegraph company,” “telephone company,” “electric light company,” “gas company,” “natural gas company,” “pipe-line company,” “water-works company,” “sewage disposal system company,” “heating or cooling company,” “messenger company,” “street railway company,” “suburban railroad company,” “interurban railroad company,” and “motor-propelled vehicle” have the meaning set forth in section 4905.03 of the Revised Code.

(C) “Railroad” has the meaning set forth in section 4907.02 of the Revised Code.

(D) “Motor transportation company,” “trailer,” “public highway,” “fixed termini,” “regular route,” and “irregular route” have the meaning set forth in sections 4905.03 and 4921.02 of the Revised Code.

(E) “Private motor carrier,” “contract carrier by motor vehicle,” “motor vehicle,” and “charter party trip” have the meaning set forth in section 4923.02 of the Revised Code.

4907.01 [Effective 9/13/2010] Definitions

As used in sections 4907.01 to 4907.63 of the Revised Code:

(A) “Public utility” has the same meaning as in section 4905.02 of the Revised Code.

(B) ” Telephone company,” “street railway company,” and “interurban railroad company” have the same meanings as in section 4905.03 of the Revised Code.

(C) “Railroad” has the same meaning as in section 4907.02 of the Revised Code.

(D) ” Public highway” has the same meaning as in sections 4905.03 and 4921.02 of the Revised Code.
