505.61 Liability insurance for police personnel.

A board of township trustees may purchase a policy or policies of insurance to indemnify township constables appointed under Chapter 509. of the Revised Code or the chief of police, patrolmen, and other employees of a township police district established under sections 505.48 to 505.55 of the Revised Code against liability arising from the performance of their official duties.
