5101.272 Fiscal impact report on participation in federal system.

Not later than August 31, 2007, the director of job and family services shall submit a report to the general assembly on the costs and potential three-year cost savings associated with participation in the federally-administered public assistance reporting information system. If cost savings are indicated in the report, not later than October 1, 2007, the department of job and family services shall enter into any necessary agreements with the United States department of health and human services and neighboring states to join and participate as an active member in the public assistance reporting information system. The department may disclose information regarding a public assistance recipient to the extent necessary to participate as an active member in the public assistance reporting information system.
