5923 - Notice of meeting of members.
§ 5923. Notice of meeting of members. (a) General rule.--Written notice of the meeting of members that will act on the proposed plan shall be given to each member of record, whether or not entitled to vote thereon, of each domestic nonprofit corporation that is a party to the merger or consolidation. There shall be included in, or enclosed with, the notice a copy of the proposed plan or a summary thereof. The notice shall state that a copy of the bylaws of the surviving or new corporation will be furnished to any member on request and without cost.
