§ 4173. Manufacture, sale or use of unapproved weights, measures and devices. It shall be unlawful for any person to manufacture, offer or expose for sale or sell or give away for use in trade or commerce or to use in trade or commerce any weight or measure or weighing and measuring device of a type not approved in accordance with the provisions of this subchapter.
