§ 6102. Declaration of policy. The maple industry constitutes an important part of the economy of this Commonwealth. Therefore, the purpose of this chapter is to preserve and foster growth in maple products for producers and ensure the quality of maple products of this Commonwealth for the consumer by establishing reasonable standards of identity and quality for maple products.
