§ 1102. Composition and organization. The Pennsylvania National Guard shall consist of such personnel as may, under the act of Congress, be prescribed by the President of the United States as the portion of the National Guard of the United States apportioned and assigned to this Commonwealth. The personnel of the Pennsylvania National Guard shall be organized according to the directives of the Department of the Army and the Department of the Air Force.
