2317 - Temporary commander of unit.
§ 2317. Temporary commander of unit. When a unit is without commissioned officers from any cause, the commanding officer of the next higher unit in the military chain of command of which it is a part shall detail an officer to command said organization until an officer has been appointed or assigned thereto.
