§ 703. Administration, supply and supervision of military forces. The department shall be specifically responsible for the administration and supply of the Pennsylvania military forces and shall have general supervisory function of all matters pertaining thereto. The department shall make periodic reports, as required by law or requested by the Governor or the Department of Defense, concerning the condition and state of the readiness of the Pennsylvania military forces.
