3042 - Powers and duties of executive.
§ 3042. Powers and duties of executive. The executive (mayor) shall enforce the plan and ordinances of the municipality and all general laws applicable thereto. The executive shall, annually, report to the council and the public on the work of the previous year and on the condition and requirements of the municipal government and shall from time to time make those recommendations for action by the council he deems in the public interest.
