§ 3079. Preparation and adoption of budget. The municipal budget shall be prepared by the executive (mayor) and shall be submitted to council in the form required by council. The budget as submitted and adopted shall be balanced. Council shall, upon introduction of the proposed budget, fix a date for adoption thereof which shall be not later than December 31 immediately following. Cross References.
