§ 3094. Additional options for election of county sheriff. A government study commission created and constituted as provided in Subchapter B of Chapter 29 (relating to procedure for adoption of home rule charter or optional plan of government) for counties or an initiative petition or ordinance of the governing body as authorized by sections 2942 (relating to initiation of amendment by electors or council), 2943 (relating to petition for referendum or ordinance proposing amendment) and 2944 (relating to time and manner of submission of question) may recommend and cause to be placed on the ballot, as a part of the question submitted to the voters for approval, additional options as part of the optional plans as set forth in this chapter providing for the election of the county sheriff.
