8245 - Refunding of electoral debt.
§ 8245. Refunding of electoral debt. A local government unit may, by action of its governing body and in accordance with the limitations of this subchapter, refund any debt originally incurred as electoral debt. The refunding bonds, notes or obligations so issued shall not thereby be considered nonelectoral debt or lease rental debt for any purpose.
