6136 - Licensee limitations.
§ 6136. Licensee limitations. (a) Name and changes to name.--A licensee cannot transact any business under this chapter under any other name or names except those names designated in its license. A mortgage originator may not use any other name other than the mortgage originator's personal legal name. A licensee that changes its name or place or places of business shall notify the department within ten days of the change, and the department shall issue a certificate to the licensee, if appropriate, which shall specify the licensee's new name or address. (b) Other businesses.--A licensee cannot conduct a business other than the mortgage loan business licensed by the department under this chapter without at least 30 days' prior written notification to the department.
