SECTION 10-10-8

   § 10-10-8  Notation of cause of action onexecution and commitment. – Every clerk of any court, issuing an execution against any person, shall noteon the margin of the execution the cause of action on which the executionissued, to the end that the warden of the adult correctional institutions mayascertain whether the person, if committed, is entitled to the liberty of thejail yard, and every officer committing any person to correctional institutionson such execution shall note in his or her commitment the cause of action onwhich the execution is founded, according to the note or memorandum of theclerk.
