§ 10-18-20 - Notices – Employment changes.

SECTION 10-18-20

   § 10-18-20  Notices – Employmentchanges. – (a) All notices provided for in this chapter may be given by registered orcertified mail with return receipt requested, and if the return receipt is notreceived, the court may order the notice served as process is served in thecourt, and the cost thereof shall be paid by the person giving notice.

   (b) The period of notice for all court hearings for whichnotice is required shall be at least five (5) days, unless the court by rule orspecial order shall prescribe a different period of time.

   (c) If the debtor changes his or her employer or acquires anadditional employer, he or she shall notify the receiver and execute anddeliver to the receiver a new assignment of his or her wages if required andthe receiver shall give written notice thereof to the new employer.
