   § 10-4-13  Chancery jurisdiction preserved– Provisions mandatory. – The provisions of this chapter shall not be construed to exclude the additionalchancery jurisdiction of the supreme and superior courts. The provisions ofthis chapter are hereby declared to be mandatory and not directory.
