SECTION 10-5-17.1

   § 10-5-17.1  Discharge of sheriff 'sbond for want of action. – The prejudgment lien against the real estate described in a sheriff 'sbond, created by the recording of the sheriff 's bond with the landevidence records of any city or town shall be discharged and dissolved and nolonger a lien upon the real estate described in the lien if no action has beentaken to enforce the bond for a period of ten (10) years from the date of therecording.
