SECTION 10-9-12

   § 10-9-12  Remand, bail, or commitmentpending judgment. – Until judgment is given, the court may remand the party, or may bail him or herto appear from day to day, or may commit him or her to the sheriff of thecounty, or place him or her under such other care and custody as thecircumstances of the case may require.
