SECTION 10-9-24

   § 10-9-24  Attachment and commitment ofsheriff or deputy. – If an attachment shall be issued against a sheriff or his or her deputy, it maybe directed to any town sergeant or to any other person, to be designated inthe attachment, who shall have full power to execute the attachment; and if thesheriff or deputy should be committed upon such process, he or she may becommitted to the adult correctional institutions in any other county than hisor her own.
